Loops usually have several parameters: initial value, increment, termination condition (which can be precondition or postcondition), direction of the loop. But in 90% cases, a loop is used to achieve one of three goals. And it can be created three elements corresponding to these goals:
Thus, an element realizes the goal. If previously the developer first think about “what to do”, and then — “how to do”, now the latter is no longer needed. Element itself takes care of all details.
First two loop elements (from the listed above) can be used in passing parameter values when calling methods.
It is possible to specify optional parameters: minimum and maximum indices.
You can turn a loop in the opposite direction by pressing only one button in the palette.
