Uniform Text Format

Data in multieditor can be displayed in the form of a plain text and edited in any text editor. When copying data selected in multieditor, only text is placed in the clipboard.
There are two data representation modes: visual (usual) and a code mode. In the code mode you can edit data “at a low level”. The format of data representation is very similar to markup language XML.

Switching to the code mode is necessary when you need to find element by its type, because the search in the visual mode is performed only by values.

Multieditors understand each other

Data from completely different programs (if they use multieditor) can be transferred from one program to another without data loss. And elements inserted in a program, if they are supported by this program, will work properly. Otherwise they will be displayed in the form of elements of unsupported types.
Elements in one program and the same elements inserted in another program

If you copy such elements of unsupported types back in the original program, they will be restored.
Some elements can automatically change their type when inserted in another program.
